Shipping policy
At Sippy Downs Coffee Company, we roast and ship all orders from Queensland, Australia. We currently ship within Australia only.
Our goal is to get your coffee to you as fresh and quickly as possible. The following outlines our shipping process, timeframes, and terms.
1. Processing Time
Orders are typically roasted and packed within 1–3 business days of payment.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched, including tracking information where applicable.During peak periods, sales, or holidays, processing may take slightly longer — but we’ll always aim to keep you informed of any delays.
2. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order weight and delivery location.
We occasionally offer free shipping promotions or local delivery options, which will be clearly displayed at checkout when available.
3. Delivery Timeframes
We use Australia Post and other trusted courier partners to deliver orders nationwide.
Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:
QLD: 1–4 business days
NSW / VIC / SA / TAS: 3–7 business days
WA / NT: 7–10 business days
These timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on your location or carrier delays beyond our control.
4. Tracking and Delivery
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.
If tracking shows your order as “delivered” but you haven’t received it, please check with household members, neighbours, or your local post office before contacting us.We are not responsible for parcels lost or stolen after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier, but we’ll always do our best to assist you in resolving any issues.
5. Delivery Address and Changes
Please double-check your shipping address before completing checkout.
We cannot guarantee changes to your order once it’s been processed or shipped.If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, and the order is returned to us, we can re-ship the parcel once additional postage has been paid by the customer.
6. Local Pickup or Delivery (if applicable)
If we offer local pickup or delivery within the Sunshine Coast region, this option will appear at checkout.
We’ll contact you directly to confirm pickup or delivery arrangements once your order is ready.
7. Delays and External Factors
Occasionally, delivery times may be affected by carrier disruptions, weather events, or public holidays.
Sippy Downs Coffee Company cannot be held responsible for shipping delays once a parcel has been handed to the carrier.
